FundManager
The below is a guide for creating a new fund and associating a provider to a fund in HMIS
Creating a New Fund
OHCS will create fund(s) for the OMC HMIS system, so OMC HMIS providers do not need to create any new funds.
To create a new fund in FundManager, navigate to the FundManager Dashboard by clicking on FundManager on the left-hand navigation panel.
Then click on Fund Admin.
Click on FundManagerSelect the Add New Fund button on the search screen.
Click Add New FundThis will open up the Fund Profile screen. OHCS recommends the following set-up:
Fund Name: A couple suggestions in the screenshot but name is at your discretion.
Category: State
Fund Type: Basic
Availability to Providers: Open to Providers with Access
Start Date: 01/01/2023
The “Description” and “Fund Usage Note” fields are there for additional fund information or can be left blank as you deem fit.
Once all the fields are filled in, click “Save & Continue.”
Once saved, you will land on the Fund Profile tab automatically. Move immediately to the Funding Cycles tab.
The “End Date” and “Submission Deadline” fields can be left blank.
Continue below for how to associate the provider(s) to the fund.
Associating a Provider to a Fund
Click on the Providers with Access tab and then select Manage Providers.
On the search screen, locate and select the appropriate All-In providers (or the ORE-DAP Redux providers if the fund is for ORE-DAP Redux).
Once all the appropriate providers are associated to the fund, navigate back to the Fund Profile tab.
The last steps before the fund can be used for service transactions are selecting the “ENABLE Fund” option and then click “Save & Exit.”
If the administrator needs to edit fund information (such as adding/removing providers), they will need to select the “DISABLE Fund” option first.
Once updates are done, they can then enable the fund again.
If there are additional questions on how to set-up a fund in WellSky, please contact the OHCS HMIS team for more information.
