Housing Move-In Date

Housing Move-in Date (HMID) is recorded by ‘unsheltered to housed’ projects.

 Instructions

  1. The HMID should always be blank on the project entry, even if you house the client the same day as the project entry.

  2. On the date the client moves into the unit, create an interim review, and enter the Housing Move-in Date during the interim review.

If the HMID is not entered during an interim review, there will be issues with reporting.

Reminders:

  • The HMID must be the date the client starts living in the unit, which might not be the same as the lease date. This prevents overlap with other project enrollments, like Emergency Shelter where the client may stay until they are housed.

  • Annual reviews are based on the anniversary of the project start date, not the anniversary of the HMID.

  • Enter the HMID for all household members.
